Refund policy
We have a 15-day return policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a pre-paid return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to drop off your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Unfortunately, at this time we can only accept returns for U.S.-based customers due to the high costs of international shipping. However, if your item was damaged during travel, we will absolutely offer either a replacement or a refund, even to our international customers.

Damages and issues
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like personalized products. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Note, our damages and issues policy still applies. If your personalized product is damaged or not as ordered, please contact us and we can provide a full refund.
Exchanges
If you wish to make an exchange for a different color, size, etc. please first contact us at hello@hinterlandcraft.com. From there, we will send you a prepaid return label to return the original item to us. Once we are notified that the return package is on its way, we will send out the alternative item.
Refunds
If the refund is due to a damaged or wrong item, we will refund your purchase immediately after receiving your notification and picture.
If the refund is due to a return, we will refund your purchase once the returned item is delivered to our location. Note, if the refund is due to a requested return, we will deduct the amount of the prepaid return label from your refund amount. We use USPS rates and attempt to get the lowest shipping rate possible. Alternatively, you can opt-out of Hinterland by providing a prepaid return label and purchasing postage yourself, and we will provide the full refund. Please feel free to use whichever carrier is most convenient / cheapest for you.
Refunds will be processed as soon as possible and typically take 2-3 business days.
